YOUTH DIVERSION & CULTURAL SUPPORT

The Youth Diversion worker will support Indigenous youth (16-24 years) who are at risk or experiencing any form of homelessness. The primary role of the Youth Diversion worker is to support Indigenous Youth with various forms of diversion such as connection to Indigenous culture as intervention to homelessness while implementing intense housing focused case management.

The Youth Diversion worker will mobilize program service delivery through an Indigenous cultural framework that will help create safety and housing stability to Indigenous youth who are living outside/unsheltered or who are experiencing any form of housing crisis. The overall goal will be to stabilize Indigenous youth in permanent housing by implementing intensive case management.
