JUSTICE PROGRAM

Zhawenjigewag

The Zhawenjigewag program provides culture-based peacemaking services to Indigenous families to strengthen and heal their relationships. Zhawenjigewag Inawemaaganag, in the Ojibwe language, describes “A process of reaching peace with relatives.”

Justice Program

The Zhawenjigewag program provides culture-based peacemaking services to Indigenous families to strengthen and heal their relationships. Local Elders from Anishinabek, Haudenosaunee, and Lene-Lenape nations guide you through an alternative peacemaking process based in Indigenous restorative justice circles.

Justice Services

In addition to Indigenous-led peacemaking processes, we also offer legal support for criminal, family court, child welfare, police complaints, human rights tribunal, and landlord tenant board.
